In this session the presenter will share how digital badging is being used to help inform students of their current level of proficiency in all four skills and encourage them to level up by taking additional courses. Participants will learn why and how the UW Collaborative Language Program began integrating digital badging for all language students, the use of Avant STAMP 4S to identify student proficiency levels, and plans to expand this implementation to additional languages and higher ed institutions.
